FROM JODI
When times get challenging, it can be easy to slide into negative thinking. Lately I found myself seeing what’s not working, what’s wrong and I was allowing it to bring me down.
I am ready for change!
I remembered one of my mentors said you cannot end a day in a bad mood if you close your workday by writing down 3 things you are grateful for. I started. For the past few days, I have been doing it. It is working. I am ending the day better – by choosing to focus on what the world has given me today, rather than what I want from the world. I am noticing a renewed hope inside myself. I am becoming more and more aware that something so simple can make such a difference in my daily life.
Which got me thinking, what if we all tried?
Now that we are starting a new month, I am committing myself to this simple daily gratitude practice, and I invite you to join me.
I am hosting an October Gratitude Challenge on our Instagram Stories, posting the 3 things I am grateful for each day in October.
If you are IN, follow @lazarlawtx on Instagram and tag your daily gratitude post with our hashtag #GRATEFUL<3. I will re-post so that we can give gratitude back into the world each day, together.
